Self-Charging Hybrid Insurance

Your Lexus must be a qualifying Self-Charging Hybrid registered in the UK and manufactured in 2024 or beyond.

Overview

To be eligible for a discount, you must drive a minimum of 30% of your miles in EV mode.

To achieve the maximum discount of 25%, you must drive 55% or more of your miles in EV mode.

Plug-In Hybrid Insurance

Your Lexus must be a qualifying Plug-In Hybrid registered in the UK and manufactured in 2024 or beyond.

Overview

To be eligible for a discount, you must drive a minimum of 50% of your miles in EV mode.

To achieve the maximum discount of 25%, you must drive 80% or more of your miles in EV mode.

How Hybrid Insurance Works

Miles Driven in EV Mode

We only monitor your miles driven in Electric mode against your total mileage over the policy term.

Based on the percentage of miles driven in Electric mode you could receive a discount.

The discount will be automatically applied to your renewal premium.

If you make a claim for an accident that is not your fault and the driver of the other vehicle is uninsured, you will not lose your No Claim Discount with us or have to pay any excess.

Provided by one of our approved repair centres for the duration of the repair. Your insurance cover will be automatically transferred by your local Lexus centre.
